The Afghani part is a very short Christmas tree-like plant, 100% Indica, very resinous and very consistent. The F1-cross with Skunk #1 gives the variety a bigger yield and better taste. Very good "up" high.

Afghani #1 is basically selected Afghanis back crossed with themselves to produce short squat plants with lots'o resin. I'm not sure who's is best, but I can tell you what Sensi's Afghan #1 grows like. The only other Afghan I ever grew was given to me as seed. Those plants grew to about 3-foot bushes and were very dark and the buds looked like little florescent green golf balls. The Sensi, however, is completely different. The leaves are huge and rounded, but they aren't dark the way Sensi describes them in their catalog. They're a very light green. My Hindu Kush is a lot darker. The Afghan #1 is tall and thin and hasn't filled out the way I would have liked. I know it has nothing to do with ferts because everything I used is organic. Bat guano, a touch of cow manure and bone meal and fed every 2 weeks with a mild mix of fish emulsions, 5-1-1, and water. They're two weeks into flowering and not nearly as vigorous as the Hindu Kush. In my opinion, the Sensi Afghan is weak and might be due for a genetic boost.

Indica. Our top Afghanis have been used for this variety. Characteristic are the big, dark Indica leaves, their strong aroma, sturdy stems and high yield. A must for the Indica connoisseur. At the 1994 Harvest Festival this new variety immediately seized the second place in the Indica category. Height 100-130 cm Flowering time 7 weeks. Yield up to 125 gr.

A very bushy plant that normally needs the lowewr branches tied up due to the large buds produced. A very indica high that leaves you staring off into space, and very unmodivated.Afghani #1 is basically selected Afghanis back crossed with themselves to produce short squat plants with lots'o resin. submitted by SmokinGanj on Thursday, October 3, 2002 at 11:43:09
