Pamir Gold®

Pamir Gold originated in the western Himalayas of Tadzjikistan. The plant was adapted to the high altitudes of the Swiss Alpes during several years of selective breeding. Once selected seeds were reproduced in the Netherlands. Pamir Gold is a mostly Indica variety (60%,40%) having a sweet earthy taste with a breath of lemon and pear. Healthy plants are 1.5 to 1.8 meters in height outdoors. Mold and mildew resistant. Yield: above average. Does also well indoors. Subtile stone/high. THC:

The Alaskan Ice is one of the strongest cannabis plants ever bred. It is a cross of original Green House White Widow and Pure Haze. This variation represents a very famous strain, with a new kick. The plants have a structure that is slightly stretchier than the White Widow, with a typical pine-tree shape. The internode is quite stable and averages 12-15 centimeters. The strain has all the well known characteristics of the White Widow, with a much higher THC content and a very sativa-like effect, energizing and very trippy. CBD level is also very high at over 1%, giving it a complete physical effect that follows the first burst of high. Flowering time on this strain is 9 weeks, just one week longer than the original White Widow. The Alaskan Ice is suitable for indoor, outdoor and greenhouse. The plant is quite resistant to botrytis and to pests. In indoor hydro systems the production can reach 700-800 grams per square meter. Outdoor expect production up to 800 grams per plant with fully developed specimens (up to 2,5 meters high and very branchy). The Alaskan Ice can be fed quite a bit, with an EC level up to 2.2 in hydro systems (regular flush required). The taste of the Alaskan Ice is spicy and hazy, with a very well balanced bouquet in between the White Widow and the Haze flavors.

Short Rider is a hybrid of our discontinued strains Top 44 and Early Special. Top 44 has long been a trade favourite because of its ability to produce commercially worthwhile amounts of strong, skunky buds in just 44 days of flowering. Even though Early Special itself lacks this characteristic, its Siberian Ruderalis genes give Short Rider the unique ability to "autoflower" - to flower independently of light cycles. This means you won't need to maintain a strict lighting schedule for this strain - it will flower regardless! Short Rider is a must for growers with limited space or who simply want to finish extra early. The quality is amazing considering how little time it takes to finish.

Spoetnik #1 is a versatile plant with excellent resistance to a wide variety of horticultural problems. She has compact rock hard buds, and offers an unusually cerebral stone for a pure Indica ? an uplifting, meditative awareness.

This variety is a superb spectacle. Her slow start may cause growers concerns. Suddenly, out of nowhere, she bursts forth around day 38 or 40 of the flowering cycle. Spoetnik #1 seems like she is reviving her engines, storing up everything she is fed for the countdown in the last 2 weeks of flowering, when she explodes with amazing power. By harvest, the plants look oily, thanks to their heavy coating of glands. Her colas form into rockets: long and cylindrical.

She tastes like dark Corinthian grapes mixed with a mineral, astringent touch on the exhale. The effects of this pure Indica strain are surprisingly uplifting, with no physical crash at the end. The high is felt mostly on the top of the head and in the face.

For the creation of Dutch Cheese ( 60% Sativa, 40% Indica) our breeders took the best cheese genetics and crossed them with various other strains. We were looking for the ‘perfect match’, where two stable strains can be crossed to give a new variety that improves on both of the parents. The ideal genetics to improve Cheese eventually came from our “Euforia” - a potent Skunk selection and a personal favorite of some of the Dutch Passion team.


The crossbreeding with Euforia has not compromised the cheesy qualities at all. But it has given improved potency and significant yield improvements, growing to a height of 60-80cm with lots of sticky side buds that show some internodal spacing that will help prevent bud rot/mould – an important feature for a heavy-yielding variety. This strain is for indoor/greenhouse.
