Yumbolt brings back that old-fashioned flavor from the fabled hills of Humboldt Co. California. Possessing a sedative stone with an outdoor aroma, she will often induce heavy eyelids with a satisfying smile. From the first toke till the last the taste remains. A producer of large succulent flowers, this girl will qualify for every grower's wants and desires. Cannabis connoisseurs cannot resist her hypnotizing powers. She is believed to have originated from Himalayans of Afghanistan and climatized in the mountains of Humbolt County California in the late 70's.

Several generations later in the early 90's we were blessed with the seeds and then propagated them in Holland. Sagarmatha entered her in a Cannabis Cup and received an honorable mention. An outdoor sample from a customer in 2001 had similar charachteristics as the samples smoked in Humbolt in the early 80's.

These nugs often resemble dense, slightly golden frosted pinecones. Another amazing feature is the formation of tunnels of trychromes secreted on the tiny leaves that have curled in on themselves surrounding the tops.

Yumbolt will bring you high up in the hills and let you experience some real Californian sunshine.

At one time it was hybridized, but has been around a while. I e-mailed Rosa at Sagarmatha. She said that it was a strain given to them by a friend from Humbolt Co., CA. She said there was some variation with the original strain, and through selective breeding were able to stabilize it. She says it has a very strong aroma (typical of Humbolt varieties) and a very heavy stone.

I found that Yumbolt is very similar to Black Domina. I have smoked Yumbolt in A'dam and it was one of my favorites. I noticed a similarity between it and the Black Domina that I have been growing since 95. Since then I have grown out the rest of my original BD seed and of the 2 that I have tried so far (still drying) the #8 female tastes exactly like the Yumbolt. It was one of the fastest also, harvested at 47 days.

Very resinous, you have to take small tokes or risk coughing up a lung. I think Sag offers 20 seeds for 200 fl. and Sensi sells B.D. 15 seeds for 175 fl. -

Yumbolt is some of the best (my current Indica dominant favorite) dank that I've ever had the pleasure of growing and smoking. It's got a killer narcotic stone with a little bit of head high thrown in. You can be somewhat productive on this strain if you don't smoke to much. It doesn't make myself and many of the people that smoke it paranoid either which is very important to me. I'd describe it as 90% body stond and 10% head high.

The ideal finishing height is around 3feet/1meter so induce flowering @ the 5-8th node. You can top or not but topping should be for height control on this plant. This is a short bushy plant that will do very well in SOG. It could possibly be a SCROG plant because of all of it's "side branching", it shouldn't be hard to train. The best part of Yumbolt or "yummybolt" as some of my friends reffer to as is the taste and smell. It has a very sweet taste and smell that should please any herb Connaisseur. Resin production is high and the high/stone is long lasting. The taste should leave a smile on your face from the first toke/hit tell the laste.
