All 4 seeds cracked within 36 hours, but unfurtunately, probably my fault, because of low temps, only 1 popped through.
The seedling was under the fluros for 2 weeks, as usual, then it went under the 400w MH.
Veg:
As this was my first time tieing down, (LST) I wasn't sure just how big to veg it to, so like a couple of other strains I was growing at the same time, I vegged it to around 8" before tieing it down, then I carried on vegging until it was(majority of the plant) around 9 - 10" tall, then triggered it.
Flower:
The Jack flash was the last plant in the entire grow that showed sex, and lukily it was a female.
It is a very skinny plant, and prior to triggering I really thought it was going to be male, as the nodes were very far apart, not very many nodes at all, I'd say at full stretch, on the main stem, there were only about 13 nodes and the stem was 34" long, as a result of that, the yield isn't very good at all.
On the up side though, this strain REALLY pumps out the trichs, BIG TIME. The whole plant looked as if a sack of sugar had been dropped on it, totally coated, and smells pretty rank/bitter.
I never experienced any problems with the nutes, although I didn't use full strength any time during flower, as it was the only one, and I didn't want to fuck it up.
I chopped this plant at 60 days, which was just about right I think, then tied it up for 14 days, chopped all the bud off, and cuerd it for another 7 days.
High:
The high of Jack flash is very nice, take 4 or 5 tokes, then you have to put the joint down and get a drink, as the taste is SUPER STRONG, very bitter, then have a few more tokes and you are pretty fuckin hammered, it hits you hard, but the initial WACK of the Jack flash doesn't last long, it just hits you, then spaces you out BIG TIME!
Put it this way, I was due to go to the hospital to see someone(major blag in itself) so I rolled a joint of Jack flash, then my mate came round to pick me up, he only had 5 tokes on this spliff, and thats all it took.
I was wasted, and my mate was pretty spaced out when we left the house....3 hours later, we were both wondering when it would wear off, we were still spaced out to fuck!
Overall the Jack flash is a nice strain, but the yield lets it down badly, I only got 1oz off this plant, if it was better, then this strain would be top notch.
