  Breeder's Description - 'Jack Herer'

This multiple hybrid is the result of many years of selective breeding, combining 3 of the strongest varieties known to man. Even though we are regularly put under pressure by obsessed growers to give pedigree details, I'm afraid that just as with the Coca Cola recipe this Sensi variety will have to remain a secret. This variety produces so much resin that even the branches bristle with stalked glands. This strain was presented at the High Times Cannabis Cup in honour of Jack Herer, one of America's greatest Cannabis activists and author of The Emperor Wears No Clothes.

It has been my favorite plant to grow (up to this point), and it has been very easy to clone and grow with consistent results (assuming you attain a plant with a good phenotype). It is important to note that out of 10 planted seeds, 5 were female, but only 2 of those held up to the "Jack Herer" name (hence the rating of 5 for "ease"). If you do get a good one, it is worth every bit of time and money you put into getting it.
Not all of the plants, but the one that I chose to clone off of was very slightly hermaphroditic.

I used a 400w HPS Garden Light III throughout the entire cycle.
Two plants were grown in a 50/50 perlite/vermiculite medium in 2 gallon pots, using a drip hydroponics system.
The grow room (with lights on) maintained an average temperature of 78-85 degrees, but at night (lights out) average temperature was between 69 and 72 degrees.
GH Flora-series nutrients were used with very little variation from the normal recommended dose, and Kabloom was used throughout the second half of the flowering cycle at full strength.
Plants were flushed with plain water for the last seven days of the 8 week flowering cycle.

I started out with four seeds as a kick down (original Sensi Seeds stock) from a fellow grower friend. Ended with with two very similar females, one hermie (discarded), and a male. Very picky during veg for ferts (hence the 6 for ease of growth), budding was a charm. When I cut and started the cure for these ladies, I did not think much of them. It was well after harvest when I realized the true potential of these babes. Totally recomended for those looking for a little something special (have the experience and patience) in what they pack in they bongs. The high washes over very nicely, not the best (hence the 9 potencey rating) but very special indeed!!! If ya want something new Jack H. is definitely ya weed!!!

Everything about this plant was interesting. I have been growing some Tribal Skunk for a year now and everything compared to it is difficult. Jack was a bit picky with ferts at first but when I adjusted the dosage things went OK. The smell of this plant is fabulous, I really enjoyed it. The plant itself was tall and lanky but filled out after week 5 in flowering and delivered a nice yield, much more than I thought it would give when I first flowered it.

I tried it last night with my mate and she really loved (and she's picky) the high was strong but very cerebral. We laughed all night long. The first hit was totally awesome and the second third fourth and then it hit me! WOOOOO! Incredible! After a two week cure Jack was dynamite. Can't wait for the next barbecue!

A friend gaves me a clone from his Sensi Seeds' Jack Herer mother. I let it grow as a mother plant then cut some clones. It was the Haze pheno so you know, the pheno which is the true Jack Herer.
This plant does not like too much ferts during vegetative grow, in fact she's a bit picky. During the first week of 12/12 she stretched a lot, and then the flowering process goes on. Trichromes appears after something like 18 or 19 days of 12/12. This plant was not a huge yielder, far from it, but it was one of the whitest weed i've ever grown. Covered trichromes...
One was cute at 85 days of 12/12 and another at 55 days (i did have some problems i had to cut all my plants.)
Odor during the flowering is not very strong compare to some other strains, but it still smells very good :)

The smoke is incredible. The taste is really good, soft and fruity, a real pleasure.
After two hits you're thinking it's a good weed but not the *one*.
After five hits you begin to smile for no reason. Feels like you are ledge...
After a joint : you're thinking it's a good weed you're high... but, what ? it should be better than that ??
And then 10 minutes after... you realise you're fucking high : you cannot understand what the people are saying to you... You're hearing all the words separatly, you're understanding it, but you are not able to understand the sentences. Sometimes you'll laugh, sometines you'll just leave on your bed and listen to music. I was really convinced by this pure sativa high, Just feel good and enjoy ;)

I received this strain as a clone from a friend. The friend had started it for seed. I grew for a while in soil next to the rest of my plants. Recently I did a garden of completely Jack, and it was sure imressive. I vegged in DWC for 30 days followed by 70-75 days in flowering. This was under 2000 watts of hps and CO2 kept between 1000 and 1500 ppm. 70-75 days because it took me a few days to trim. I had previously harvested early, and had been unimpressed with Jack. The rest of my strains were 45-60 days, and I'm impatient. This strain must go a little longer. The phenotype I have has very thin sativa like leaves, and the plants are unimpressive until week 6. At that point the buds got HUGE. It produced GIANT calyx's that seemed to creep outward from the center. It seems to have very few budsites at first, but the whole branch becomes a giant bud. It puts on most of its weight around day 55-65, not doing too much before that. The trichomes are weird in that they are sort of sandy feeling, not super sticky like other's I've grown. But they get covered. I recommend it to anybody as a great strain, but I feel the high is not motivational like some other sativa's. It would be a great medical strain, because this strain rockets you to the moon. I have never felt any anxiety or paranoia while smoking Jack.

This plant was surprisingly ease to grow considering I had heard several reports before how it was very tempermental to grow. Thru out the grow it was easily the most lush densely populated, tallest growing plants. The also surprised me in I had heard these were average yielders and yet they were my best yielding even better then Big Bud. Trichome developement was fairly dense and crystally with short stalks and bulbous gland heads. The smell and taste is unlike anything I've had before. So odd that at first it's almost a turn off but I found myself quickly enjoying it. Very nice, deep, long lasting high.

Three strain grow, 2 females each of Big Bud, Jack Herer and Master Kush. Soil is a mixture of generic enriched potting soil (with a slightly better blend of nutrients then Miracle Grow) with perlite, vermiculite and dolomite lime added. Veg ferts used as recommended using Ionic Grow for Soil and Coco supplemented on occassion with superthrive (usually at transplant) Growroom is 5' x 8' x 8' walls lined with mylar, themps controlled by airconditioning and ventillation, humidity controlled by monitor and dehumidifier, light was 2 x 800W MH HIDs suspended 12 inches above the plants in veg (18 inches the first two weeks). 1000W top air cooled HPS HID during flower high efficiency furnace blower for air cooling and also active exhaust with a passive intake to fresh cool air, lights were suspended 18" above plants. Plants started from seed germed in paper towel and water sprouted in one gallon pots ferts started in third to fourth week of veg and administered according to directions. SuperThrive used at transplants which occured at 5 weeks veg into 3 gallon buckets and again at week 10 into 5 gallon buckets. Water and soil ph maintained at a steady 6.5 watered approximately every three to four days. 16 inch oscillating fan provided air circulation. Ferts used in flower were Ionic Bloom and Ionic Bloom Boost also applied as directed.

I started to grow an hybrid with White Rhino provided by a breeder for me to test.
The beans were fresh so 100% of them sprouted, but i kept only 3 females, one of them was discarded since showed too much indica pheno, but the other two were growed in my growroom: a somewhat small like hell box with a 150W hps and a nice hydro setup.
One of the plant overgrown the other one, and i took some clones for keeping the pheno.
They didn't show any particular request in nutrients, normal soil nutes in hydro setup did the job perfectly, the plant were grown with 1100ppm nutes and showed no nute burn neither any parasites.
they were tall and i needed to scrog them under a net, my poor 150W lamp was not enough for them but was perfectly sufficient for getting 3oz out of 2 plants, they can't certainly compare with the 4-4.5 i usually get out from white rhino but Wr can adjust to small spaces much better.
The plant were left in flowering for 70 days, the nutes were stopped approx 3 weeks before the harvest and only R0 water was added to the reservoir, the ppm slowly dropped till 200 ppm in the last week.
The result was nice, nitrogen deficience in the last time gave the buds a wondrful taste, sweet and herbal, maybe didnt give me a very big yeld but high quality for sure.
The buds were dried for 4 days, they are completely resin covered, and the smell is very flowery, they burn pretty good with some pops, and the effect is almost immediate, 2 hits give a nice heady high very very cristal clear.
I know i am high but i can think clearly, i can't express is differently than the high is like cristal clear spring water.
No couchlock at all, and medium to short duration at low dosage.
At high dosage some nervousness shows up as well as a great appetite....
the cross with white rhino gave it a booost in bud production as well in potency, the pheno i got almost completely lost its indica pheno, showing mainly sat smoke, however still grows like an indica sativa mix, plants were 50cm tall when harvested.
definitely a strain i will keep in my collection.
recommended for beginners.

Very nice strain,, they veg part was done outside and move inside for the flowering stage. Enormus strech in the first 2 weeks, 70 days and could be little longer for that pheno. never grow something so potent.

Carefull with nutes, very senstive to nutrient burn.
