|
Although the cerebral high of the Sativa is preferred by many, indoor growers aren't too fond of this type; Sativas get very tall, take a long time to finish off and produce skimpy yields. We have spent years searching for a superb Indica/Sativa hybrid suited for indoor growing.
By crossing the Haze, the most powerful Sativa in the world, to a non-dominant Indica we managed to get the height and flowering time of the plant down to an acceptable level and still retain the unique Sativa qualities of the high.
The result: Silver Haze®, winner of the High Times Harvest Festival.

I sowed three seeds that germinated within three days and were put immediately in soil. The artificial light in the veg phase was set to 24/0 for 50 days. After 50 days of vegetative growth the plants were approx 60 cm tall and presented the first preflowers. I got one female and two fantastic males, which were immediately eliminated.
These phenotypes are not 100% Sativa like I thought, but looked rather 50% Indica and 50% Sativa. The blooming lasted for 67 days. A fantastic plant, strong and simple to cultivate, which adapts also to hydro. Its smoke is super and unique for me.

My grow room measures 1x1x2.
The artificial light is a 430w HPS (Silvania grolux).
The medium was soil with fine sand.
Ferts used: Alga bloei in veg and Bio Bizz in flowering.

In this cycle they have been of the problems begins them caused from mistaking PH ( much low ). This has caused a slowing down of the vegetative fase, but, resolving the problem the strong plant have resumed normally....
After 50 days of vegetative growth the plants were approx 50 cm tall and presented the first preflowers, the blooming fase lasted for 67-70 days.
7 days before to pass to 12/12 have executed the FIM, becose i want to contain the height for improve the HPS light
During the blooming fase i have use Canna Terra Flores in these amounts:
(10lt Water)
30ml Canna Coco A
30ml Canna Coco B
40ml Canna Terra Florer
- 10 days from end cycle i have used Ripen (FANTASTIC)
To the end of Cycle, for plant, i successful to collect nearly 100gr.
This strain is very good, stable, very powerful, simplex for the indoor coltivation but, for litle grow, necessary to execute FIM.
