Potency: WOW what a rush - I am somewhat a heavy smoker (between 2.5 - 4g a day) and let me tell you this smoke rocks with the best of them. MHO - one very strong herb.

Taste: On this pheno I am not getting the strong taste of grape although there is a mighty fine sour candy after taste.

High: Starts at the top of your head and tingles all the way to your toes. Very nice little body rush. I get a heavy forehead after 3 hits - hope you can relate to that. Heavy Heavy High. I like it.

If I were to rate this - and I am - here would be the score card

Looks: 10. Most beautiful plant and buds I have seen or grown.

Potency: 9. I have had stronger but I could only count on one hand in the last 20 years of a stronger hitting herb.

Taste: 8. I have other phenos growing and have harvested another that had a way better grape taste so this mark is only for this pheno. Still a very pleasant smoke and will keep her in my garden. I have chosen one of her clones for my mom plant.

High: 10. I say this because I suffer from sleep disorder and have a very hard time controlling my anger. Not only does this totally take care of those problems, but it also seems to be a very good pain reliever. Things I have noticed are: Lower back pain - almost gone, Headaches - Gone completly, Sore muscles from working out - makes you forget all about it.

Grow ability: 10. Easiest plant I ever grew - never once showed signs of nute probs but my other strains I had to constantly keep changing nute strengths to keep them happy. I do have a problem cloning the Sativa pheno - none die they just take forever to root. The Indica pheno on the other hand clones very fast and in 3 weeks I will be harvesting an Indica clone.

From seed I harvested the pictures to the left at 56 nights 12/12. From clone I take them at 49 nights. From 11 seeds I got 6/5 f/m with 3 Sativa and 3 Indica phenos. As BOG reports, not the most stable, no 2 plants looked alike except all where tric laden, all had different but simular tastes and the highs very from a full body stone to go to sleep good night. All highs very strong. I found the one I wanted (a sativaish pheno) and made her a mom. My wife smokes very rarely but loves how medicinal this is for her headaches (There goes MY stash). I use Pure Blend Pro Organic nutes with their liquid karma for a catalist. Used every watering at bottle recomendations and had no signs of nute burn or any other problem while growing. When she is touched or brushed against while in flower she fills the room with an oder of an old time candy store. When harvested I find the oder very strong with a skunky/fuel/candy smell that turns to a nice sweet/skunky smell. Bag appeal is fantastic as the tric's shine and the hard dense buds don't smash flat when squeezed. Being so dense you all know it looks smaller then most in a bag but when you break open those sweet glistening buds you realize what you have. Most peoples first reaction is "Holly Shit" when they see it. Yield is above avarage now that I have everything worked out, around 3 - 4 ounces in a 4 gal pot in 49 nights. Yield goes up with one more week but so does the stone (a little of both is what I like). I have found if you can handle a heavy high this smoke is OK for the day time but do keep busy for if you sit down - 15 minutes and you're asleep.

If I forgot to put something in holler out and I will answer.

Peace and WOW WHAT A RUSH

The Lifesaver I grew out and smoked was the Sativa pheno. It had low odor during growth but once cut and trimmed the smell of grapefruit was very strong. The smoke was a little harsh but the taste was definitely there.

The high was heady and from what it seemed, I believe the Sativa is a "roofless" high. What I mean by that is, the more you smoke, the higher you get. The high remains for a few hours and is motivational. I go alot done while smoking Lifesaver.

On the med side. Well I am a med user with extreme chronic back pain as well as migraine headaches. The Sativa pheno even though heady still gave me relief from my pains. It relaxed the muscles in my back which allowed me to get things done. Lifesaver is definitely a good med strain, even as a Sativa.

Overall I would give it a 7.

Very easy to feed organically, they love guanos!... This is a great strain for the begginer who wants a low cost, quality product! I'm stressing the word quality, just look at my pics! They even turn a nice purplish color at the end of flowering. The smoke is very smooth and tasty (fruity) although I've definitely had strains that had a more pronounced taste; thats why I gave it a 7 and not an 8 , 9, or 10. If you never smoked it before then let's just say you're in for a pleasant surprise as far as the high goes! It gets you ripped. Not as high as say G-13 but it's up there!

Extremely easy to grow, great for newbies in the game. Some phenos smell like candy but there were a few that didn't. It's very hard to find the blue pheno but I am sure it's somewhere in the thousands of seeds BOG has in stock.

This strain truly is the king of Indicas!

As far as the high goes it is extremely couchy but very mind-numbing and mellow. This bud is good if you have nothing to do, or if you wanna go fishing on a peer, watch a movie, or just lay back on a winters eve and hibernate. Not really a party high, which I enjoy most. You will find that it will drag you into a deep sleep with its incredible drowsy power it has. But man, it is fantastic...
The smokeablillity is way up there, the feel of it is very crunchy, my friends call it capn' crunch for this reason. Once inhaled the smoke opens up your lungs and the smoke is so heavy on the chest you cant help but blow it out quickly. And when the smoke is exhaled it leaves you with a pleasant candy aftertaste that's to die for. Many testers have tried explaining the taste leaving them dumbfounded. The overall strain is a triple threat, with its high taste and smell leaving the connoisseur aching for more!

The Lifesaver was my first real grow. I experimented with some bagseed once but I went no-holes-barred on this last round. Many of the issues to be graded on I'm sure would be a 1-3 points higher if I had more experience and a more optimal environment to grow in. The grow itself was a roller-coaster starting from week 1. I germinated 5 seeds, all had nice taproots except for one that had a short taproot. After planting they were vegged for 60 days to reach a height of about 24 inches. In this time period, one of the 5 had some bad looking problems (leaves browning and curling, soon becoming necrotic). I took it outside and threw it in the garden through the last week of veg and it began to flower. Luckily the bastard was a male. I only had one other male which was destroyed as early as possible. This left three healthy females inside a male outside.

In flower, a second plant began with the curling necrotic spots. I took her out to the garden under the sun and pollinated her with the male that had been waiting for her to show up. She stayed outside for the rest of her life and yielded some decent seedy buds (although only about a half ounce). The two remaining indoor plants went a full 61 days and some change before they were harvested. I still think they may have been a little early but due to time constraints, they had to go. The two plants had significant differences leading me to believe that I had a sativa-dominant pheno and an Indica-dominant pheno growing. The shorter (Indica) yielded about an ounce and a half while the larger sativa plant yielded closer to two ounces dry bud.

The smoke report is still underway, as the cure is about 75% so far. Both batches are still relatively greeny smelling (like homegrown), but have a very fruity scent when broken into. Tons of hairs and crystals guarantee a heavy high, and so far I've found that high to be relatively heady- and like I was expecting, a potency that leaves you wanting to take a nap. Not a great weed to work on, but it makes for a chilled party!

I flowered them for about 63 days, but I could have cut them sooner. When I saw the nice color coming on I let them go a little longer.
I had 2 phenos, one was more Bogbubble and one was more Blueberry. Both had a nice Indica growth pattern. Nice solid resin covered buds. They all seemed to yield fairly well.

They smelled kind of fruity in the grow. The Bogbubble pheno smelled and tasted very fruity with that familiar b-gum undertone. The blue pheno is fruity as well, but a little less sweet, more spicy, richer.

I germinated 3 seeds and got 3 nice females. All vegged well and I had no nute problems. They had a short bushy Indica growth pattern. The buds were solid and very frosty. They put off a nice fruity smell during flower. I cut them at about 63 days. I could have cut them sooner but I let them go when I saw the color come on. My night temps were about 55* F.

I got two phenos one was more Bogbubble, and the other two were more Blueberry. The Blueberry ones produced a beautiful purple color with the low temps. The Bogbubble pheno has a nice fruity smell and flavor with a familiar b-gum undertone. The Blueberry ones have a fruity flavor, but a rich, earthy undertone. Both showed good resin production. It smokes well in a joint.

The high is a good Indica high, not devastating, but a good couch lock.

Easy to clone and vigorous in vegetative growth. We had the "Sativa" pheno of Lifesaver which is lanky with a high flower/leaf ratio. This plant finished quickly showing a high degree of resin by 28 days in flower and tightening with milky trichomes by 40 days.

Lifesaver in flower was a bit more sensitive to the Fox Farms Bloom than some other strains but tolerated the 700 ppm.

The bud cures to firm nuggies with great appearance and a light grape odor. The smoke is very smooth and amazingly potent producing a strong body stone. An excellent medical strain for those with spasm or back pain.

Lifesaver is some quality smoke. the taste of the buds is making me want to keep smoking it. not to mention that it is beautiful when flowering.. I got these beans from the very 1st Bogglegum/Lifesaver medley pack. I got only one male. the rest are girls.
I like the sativa pheno. the high is like taking a pill of Valium. perfectly comfortable mind/body stone with hot face and ears..
again, this strain is really tasty. ( but you got to find one that is not as hashy) some phenos is obviously bigger yielder than the others, but not quite my favorite taste and high.
the other thing to mention is its color. the naturally purple/red stems and buds. with cooler temps it can go really colorful.
the leaves are massive and dark green. some phenos needs more nutes than the others when flowering.

I would keep this strain for a while and use it for crossing for its unbelievable taste and strong high.

Lifesaver – now here’s a great couchlock Indica! Best not to sit down if you want to remain awake – this is seriously relaxing sleep-inducing weed! It’s pretty much all body high, mentally the effect is just one of untroubled calm, very nice. Medicinally, the Lifesaver does help with pain to some extent, definitely worth smoking if you’re hurting and don’t have anything important planned.

The Lifesavers were uncomplicated to grow, perfect beginners plant. Certainly the easiest to grow strain I’ve encountered. The Lifesaver girls were cheerful, easygoing ladies who required nothing but an occasional watering and a nice big pot. They were grown in Sam’s Choice Continuous Feeding Soil, and the nutrients already in the soil were enough to get the girls through start to finish with nothing else added but water.

The two Lifesavers yielded almost identically to each other and combined weighed 2.3 oz, an ok yield, nothing exceptional. Smell was minimal – good little stealth plant. Both were very pretty and healthy looking plants. One plant had more sativa characteristics than the other, growing faster and taller, and with narrower leaves. I didn’t really notice a difference in highs though.

Overall Summary

Lifesaver, it cures what ails ya! Said best by BOG himself. This is a wonderful strain & I'd recommend growing it to anyone! It's a very uniform plant for the most part and it's really easy to grow out. I was working with two females out of 3 seedlings that I had pop up. 3 out of 4 seeds germinated. But 2 of the 3 were female, so it was a score. On top of that, I had 2 phenotypes to work with! Even better. The first to finish in 55 days was the indica dominant bogbubble phenotype. Short & squat with thick fingers like any indica would. The second phenotype I had was the sativa dominant "grape" or purple pheno. This pheno was trained to be short but considerably taller and more lanky than the other phenotype. It finished in two intervals, the top at 63 days and the bottom at 70 days.

Smoke Report

--Bogbubble pheno
This pheno tastes very earthy. It has a spicy taste, but its very smooth. It gives you a very mellow body high, and you get that heavy weight feel in your eye lids. Common indica high traits, but its so much more. It did pack a punch, and in my own opinion, is a little stronger in potency than even the sativa phenotype.

--"Grape" pheno
This phenotype tastes so wonderful that BOG should trademark the flavor! It tastes like candy, but also has a undertone of spices & melons, very unique. The high is almost like the clarity thinking of a mushroom trip. I feel like my thoughts are much clearer, and I'm kind of energetic and ready to take on the next challenge of the day. A great high for sure!

* Growers note: Lifesaver (both phenos I grew out) gets REALLY frosty during flowering, more so than a lot of plants I've seen and grown myself. From the stems to the leaves, even the fan leaves. If you like frosty buds, this plants for you!

These plants were germinated via the paper towel method. I then put the paper towel into a little rubbermaid container and sealed and aired out in intervals until tails showed.

I then sowed to soil, regular MG potting soil with added nutes & micronutes. They were put into little white Styrofoam cups until about day 25 of veg when they were then transplanted into bigger pots where they remained until harvest. They ultimately vegetated for 30 days. The pots weren't that big because of my space I was working with. A small rubbermaid cab bought from the grocery store.

The soil used when transplanted before bloom was MG African violet potting soil for blooming plants with nutes & micronutes. I used 8-14-9 Shultz African violet nutes for flowering food. They were flowered for 55 days (indica pheno), 63 days (top of grape pheno) & 70 days (rest of grape pheno).

Each phase of life was under 3*26w of CFL's (red spectrum) & 2-3*33w warm spectrum tubes (25"). This plant is a very nice plant to breed with from what I hear. I will definitely be growing this in my garden in the future, and possibly breeding myself. Thanks for a great lineage of cannabis BushyOlderGrower!

Lifesvaer has made me fall in love with Indicas. I kept 2 out of 3 plants, 1 hermied. One is plump and fat like BogBubble and the other is sweet, has purple trichs and smells like blueberries. The latter is extremely uplifting to the senses! People just love the fruity purple pheno!

The high of the BogBubble pheno is very stimulating at first and comes on in the face and neck and then mellows you out hard. Heavy yawning.

The purple pheno is so tasty. It tastes like blueberries out of a friends bong or bubbler but It tastes even better out of my vaporizer. The purple comes not from color in the leaves but rather the stalks of the trichomes. The heads of the trichs are bulbuous and clear/cloudy/amber but the many purple stalks are what gives the bud its purple hue. I must say, it is my favorite weed and I hope to never lose these genetics. This high comes on gradually and it is characteristic of a very complex indica. After a morning vape before going to the laboratory, the high starts in the base of the head and back and creeps up my spine. It also makes your head tingle as it comes on. My thoughts are mindful and calm yet the body feels energized and I feel strongly planted on this earth ready to go about my beautiful day. It is thoughtfully stimulating as well. It will not have you staring at walls but it is not a good social weed. It is better for serious contemplation and reflection. Along with yoga and regular exercise, it helps keep me hungry, fit and healthy. It is a life tonic!!

I only have room for 2 moms so I'm thinking of growing something else because the 'fruity healer' and scrapping the other pheno. This is fo sure the lambs bread collie.

I have IBS and defiantly need something to control the pain, nausea, and spasm incurred by such a disorder.

Germination: I grew out 5 Lifesaver seeds out of 10. Out of the 5, I got 1 female. She is being kept as a mother (THANK GOD, I'D CRY IF I LOST THESE GENETICS). I've had Nirvana seeds yield higher proportions of Female/Male, so by the point I was a little pessimistic. I think, don't quote me on this, but the Lifesaver males are twice as vigorous early on in the growth... Anyone doing any breeding, consider using a Lifesaver male, they will overrun your house!

Cloning: Cloned VERY nicely. I used DWC cloning with distilled water, and I think (I lost my graphs in a format) it threw roots in about 11 days.

Setup: I grew 3 Lifesaver plants in a microgrow cabinet with 3 42 watt CFLs, in 4" pots, using Schultz's Professional Indoor Mix soil. Peters 20-20-20 to feed with. Tap water to water.

Veg: I clipped the tip at 3 nodes high, and used string to train them so all the buds were on the same plane. Only vegged for 12 days.

Flowering: During flowering I used a really aggressive feeding pattern, denoted by slight nutrient burn on the leaves in the picture. I started at half strength nutes, and then every watering, I'd add 1/8th strength (or smaller) or something of nutes to the water, and I'd gradually increase this as I saw fit, if the plants didn't look to be taking it, I'd back off. I was always feeding them. The leaves never became any more burned than what you see in the picture. I flowered for about 45 days. I harvested at mostly milky trichs, and a few amber, but not before flushing the soil.

Smoke report: I'm not really sure how much of this weed it takes to get you stoned, because I could smoke a whole bowl of it just because of the taste!!! This herb puts my stoner friends out cold! Defiantly helps my IBS. Tastes like grape jelly on toast, IMO. It's a powerful stone. BOG says "tooth numbing potency"... I say: body numbing potency.

Yield: *shrug* It was a micro grow. I yielded 1.5 ounces total between 3 plants. This was just a test batch anyways, I'm not wasting my hydro solution on unsexed plants.

This was my 1st try with LifeSaver and it certainly was what I was looking for.
I only started 2 seeds for test grow , I’ve put the other 10 in since.
Then the 2 I started I put into veg for about 8 weeks from seed. They were very strong growers once they were 15inch. I could tell sex luckily enough I had 1 of each, I had to get rid of the male which was a pity lovely looking plant but not as bushy as the female. I let it grow a extra few weeks till it was about 2ft then put it into flower.
In flower it didn’t stretch much, buds took a bit to form but when they did they didn’t half fill out. As for feeding these loved the ferts. I gave them plenty of BioBizz Bloom an yet didn’t show a sign of tip burn.

As the smoke goes it’s the kind a stuff just to relax and chill out. It relaxes your whole body to the stage of comfortably numb.

I germed out 3 lifesavers hoping that I would get at least one male, all germed and I got 2 females and one male..

Since the seeds has good genetics, no vegging of the plant at all. Just let it grow...Both plants topped once at the 3rd node and the 5th node for the other plant... The shorter plant is the indica pheno and she went 45 days.. No Problems at all...Very tight nodes, seen her with 5 nodes-branches in like 6 inches. Very nice clusters of buds that were growing..Very crystaly buds, leafs, stems and about halfway down the fan leaves's stem into the stalk. Had to repot to a bigger pot from 2 gallons right before flower to 5 gallons pot, and didn’t skip a beat. Crystalizing buds were a sight to be seen...Wow I say!

The Sativa pheno did 60 days and no Veg at all. She was growing along side of the indica and showed her flowers in 30 days from seed first. Since I was waiting for the indica pheno to show sex, 6 days later then I repotted the Sativa pheno and she went into shock with buds on them. Took 2 weeks before she started to like her new home and then started to grow again ...grew a little taller ... Very Sativa looking plant with crystaly buds ALL the way down to the lower buds...Nice size nugs and crystaly. Very sweet-candy like buds...Yummy! By far my best smoke so far and even the smell is out of this world!

Smoke report: Indica

Very Good smoke... After a week cure, when smoked it has the "lung-expanding blow-the-smoke-out-now" ‘cuz you ain't gonna hold me in any longer. Kicks early than most weed I've touched. Very potent smoke. Late at night smoke, if smoked early ,be ready for the couch or you can get mindless if walking around doing nothing. That is mindless but worth it. Buds are semi-smelly and hard, broken up the buds don’t smell. Just a hint of hash, like some golden hash smell. Friends find this really stoney weed and a good One hit or Two.
Indica pheno will hit you with a stone pretty quick closer to most say "Baseball Bat" stone and without knowing it. You're stoned, had a half joint and didn’t know it's in my hand. Then you're staring into something non-thinking-space. Funny stone sometimes.

Smoke report: Sativa

Wow! By far is amazing buds I've touched, smoked, drooled over. After 60 days it was time to pull her. Very smooth smoke that a huge hit can be tasty and no kicking of smoke wanting to leave the body temple. Even with the 2 weeks of none growth, still have very potent smoke that makes up for a huge yield with semi-potent smoke. Very crystaly, I'm always breaking up buds and taking a good whiff of these candies buds all the time. Smoking it too, exhaling smoke is very pleasant, relaxing, smooth as in glass smooth. Friends blink twice with this stuff. It's a great pheno!

The Sativa high is what I like ‘cuz it's keeps the high flying as you will try to catch the "Wave" and it's like a "Tide" high stone type. You go with the stone, relaxing high, as well with the funny stone weed, Laughing with this weed is common. She's a 10 for sure.

Cloned 2 of them from the Indica pheno, just slice and powder and put into soil with nothing over it and it's growing like on the Sativa side or maybe I got the labels switched. Yup, happens when smoked THAT Indica pheno "label switching-in-the-stoned-zone”. Do what you need to do THEN get stoned. Male was only 2 feet tall then culled.

400 HPS Hortilux she went under at 12/12 from seed.

BOG mix of Expert soil with less B/B and Fed 5-1-1 about 4 weeks at seed. Feeding went fine with one feed of MG grow at repotting for N(18-18-21) and into flowering a week later(10-52-10)..Just water and fert only 3 or 4 times when needed during the plants life... Soil had food so less was better chem feed routine. I would her grow again. Recommended.

These were grown from clones taken from a re veg that I turned into a bonsai. I rooted three clones but had to go on holiday.. When I came back they had streched a bit so I toped them before I put them into flower.

They went straight into flowering until 50% of the pistils had turned red. They had very dark green, waxy leaves and stayed fairly short once flowering set in.

After a week hanging and a week in the jar they seemed about right to me, very sticky and pungent nugs covered with trichomes, even on the shade leaves.

The taste is sweet but sort of earthy, just the sort of taste I like... Like a nice cigar thats been diped in candy sweets.

I couldn't smoke this all day long though it's a bit of a show stopper not to great for partys either.. Good before bed or when watching a movie... It really helps my bad knee after a long day at work but it's bad for the fridge which some might find useful.

All in all I love this plant. Very easy to work with and this particular pheno comes in around 35-40 days which means that I can have a good turn around for the next lot.

I got a clone from a friend he did'nt grow that many seeds out five I think but he ended up with one female. I veged the clone for three weeks and then switched the lights to 12/12. I kind of liked this plant it dosent stretch at all witch is good and at day 50 I had to tigh up the colas so they wouldent topel over. The other thing I liked about lifesaver is it will eat up the nutes so I would say the easyest plant I have grown and a good stone .
