  Breeder's Description - 'Destroyer'

This 100% Sativa strain is a cross of Meao Thai and an early and stable Mexico/Colombia. The exceptional backcross of two of our best females took over 7 years.

The total acclimatization of the mother Thai has been so difficult that we decided to introduce an earlier Sativa, as well as productive, and add its characteristics.

The result is a strain which represents the state-of-the-art of Sativa with an exotic predominance of Thai.

The small and numerous bracteas are covered with a big amount of trichomes full of THC, carrying even 92 trichomes in some bracteas by mm2.

11 of 12 germed within 4 days. Branchy, bushy form in veg exept for one that was more pine tree shaped, and stretchy. I found this strain to be a light feeder, the worm castings in the soil mix were all that they needed until bloom.

4 out of 5 girls showed more Thai traits than Mexican/Columbian during bloom, and tasted sweet, citric. The other tastes peppery skunky...

The high is really strong, up. I have tendencies to lose train of thought and just go wandering in my mind a lot while smoking this herb. Not reccomended for insomniacs. It leads to a busy mind.

I'm happy with the yield for a 100% Sativa indoors.

All of mine were finished by 80 nights, and have shown some purpling towards the end of flowering.

I really enjoyed this strain, although it was a bit pain to grow, it did not stretch as much as I was expecting and was surprisingly manageable. It was extremely sensitive to nutrients, especially nitrogen. I had 6 Destroyer seeds, all germed and I got 3/6 females.

Destroyer is a cross of Thai and Mex/Col, and I got 1 of the Mex/Col pheno and 2 Thais. The Mex/Col finished at about 70 days and yielded about 30 grams of very high quality bud. The bud was extremely crystallized as well as the close trim, although it was not very dense at all. It had a nice piney minty hashy taste. The high was a very nice head buzz with a little body and some interesting minor visuals such as tracers.

One of the Thai pheno plants simply didn?t make it through the canopy and was sort of sick, I took it down shortly after Mex/Col because it had many cloudy trichs. This plant yielded only about 7 grams, but the high was soaring.

After the 2nd plant was cut, the only plant left in my flower room was my big healthy Thai pheno plant, I moved it right under the light and spread its branches out to get light to all the lower buds. I also gave it a couple small shots of 0-10-10 fertilizer at this point to see if I could stimulate some more bud growth. Well, the plant simply blew up at this point. All larger buds had to be tied up so they wouldn't fall over and the plant just kept pumping out more bud up until day 108 of flower when I finally decided it was done growing. This plant weighed in to an astounding (to me at least) 110 grams. My largest cola weighed in right at 1 ounce, but I had to cut it up to fit it into my biggest curing jar.

Veged for 35 day flowered for 90. Keep nutrients low or they burn easy. Under 1000ppm and low nitrogen required.
Plant does not strech as much as I expected. 75-85 cm tall. Large full sativa colas, with lots of leaf.
Smoke is up and happy but too soft. light piney smoke but doesnt compare to Kali-mist or Nevells haze.

Crossed with Kalimist called "mist of destruction" great cross!

Latest in, was unable to re-generate any of 4 destroyer girls, she is nutrient picky and cannot take what my other plants can.

Oh well still have the other 500 KalixDestroyer seeds.

10/10 germinated and 8 were females. They were grown in pots in organic soil on a very sunny terrace. They were germinated in late January and force flowered after 10 weeks.

There were 2 basic bud types with others somewhere in between -- a tighter, faster flowering bud and a looser (but by no means scrawny), longer flowering bud. They were all very good to exceptional in terms of vegetive growth and resin production characteristcs. The smell during flowering was a beautiful fruit salad.
They had excellent structure with very little stretch -- although the growing conditions help a lot in this department. I can not comment on how they would be indoors.

They were very light feeders, especially sensitive to nitrogen. The looser bud types were the most sensitive.

The tighter group were harvested at around 60/65 days of flowering (counting from first proper flowers) and the others between day 70 and 80. The yield of the tight group was very good and the other group less but also good.

They all cloned very easily and the clones were placed on a balcony receiving light from a streetlight at night. All of them eventually started some kind of flowering despite the light at night. Again, I can't comment on how they would perform indoors under constant 24 hour light.

The high from all 8 plants is excellent -- after sampling lower buds of them all, I closed them up to cure. I'm now smoking them 1 by 1 instead of dipping into each one. I have just finished a jar of one of the loose bud plants and have just started on a jar of the other type. The smell in the jar is good -- astringent fruit, and the taste is pleasant but not a strong point.

The effect is very animating with no paranoia (for me anyway) and no comedown. In other words a good strong sativa high to be used as such.
