Our Original Blueberry is a mostly Indica (80% Indica, 20% Sativa) strain, that dates to the late 1970´s. A large producer under optimum conditions. A dense and stout plant with red, purple and finally blue hues, that usually cure to a lavender blue. The finished product has a very fruity aroma and taste of blueberry. It produces a notable and pleasantly euphoric high of the highest quality and is very long-lasting. Medium to large calyxes. "Blueberry" has a long shelf life.

This strain sprouted easily and 9 out of 10 seeds cracked. Seeds were vegged on 18/6 for 2 weeks then flipped into flowering. During vegging, pheno's varied heavily with many indica as well as sativa dominant plants.
Once flipped into flowering, it took a week for the plants to show sex. A further 2 weeks into flowering 3 runts and 2 hermies were removed from my grow room. I then began to notice that this strain needs conditions close to perfect in order to flower without hermie problems!
Later on in the flowering cycle I was left with only 1 female, although a somewhat special one! She filled my entire grow room with an extremely strong, super sweet smell! In my opinion one had got to smell a blueberry lady in bloom to fully appreciate this strain! WOW!
Due to the fact that I grew this lady 100% organic, I smoked her initially in a joint! Although still slightly harsh on the throat after 2 weeks curing, the taste was one resembling sugar cane or something equivalent. Very sweet tasting which almost completely prevented cotton mouth and remained very evident even half an hour after smoking. The effect was a perfect indica/sativa mix of body and head highs. (possibly slightly more body) The high lasted approximately 2 and a half hours until I began to experience a very heavy comedown. The comedown was almost impossible to fight as it is extremely sedating.
I highly recommend this strain as a day ender ather than a starter, yet the effect lasts a good while before the sedativeness kicks in. Hope this helps and good luck to anyone thinking of growing this truly fantastic strain!
