Final Grow/Smoke Report
Okay, so now that I have looked over my scribbling and dried all of the bud, I will offer up some observations on this strain. As usual I would like to say that a handful of plants hardly constitutes a fair and scientific investigation and more thorough growing is needed to make anything more than general conclusions. On a good note, I found this strain to be very stable and all plants were fairly uniform and similar in requirements and appearance barring the obvious color and leaf variation. With that in mind, here are some of my findings:
Shared physical traits:
White Widow absolutely loves hydro. I have never watched a plant grow quicker in the vegetative stage than these girls. It was an amazing rate of growth. After two weeks in the buckets, all of the plants had stocks as thick as the circumference of a quarter. The root systems developed very quickly and nearly reached the capacity of the buckets by the end of their cycle.
The speedy growth compelled me to prune these plants very aggressively. I literally trimmed a full sized garbage bag full of pruned branches and leaves. Pinching was a mistake this grow. The plants went sideways in a hurry, forcing me to quickly tie down certain branches to achieve decent light penetration. The WW’s will definitely get bushier and thicker when topped or pinched.
My cramped space unfortunately, was not well suited to this condition and I paid for it with poor bud development on the lowermost branches. Due to this issue I have re-designed my grow room to allow more spacing between my plants. I am convinced as ever that there is no substitute for balanced light coverage.
I’m undecided if yield increased with all my tweaking, but without pruning these girls will overrun your house.
Training is very easy with this strain as the branches are very pliable and easy to position. The fan leaves are gigantic and numerous, making it a constant struggle to maintain light to all of the areas of the plant. For this reason I see the WW as a great SCROG/SOG candidate.
Super Cropping was effective with this strain and it recovered quickly with minimal stress. Care must be exercised when handling the branches and leaf stems, as they are very soft in the veg stage and easy to damage if you are careless. I split more than a few branches but they healed quickly with very little lag time in growth.
During the 12/12 stretch, the plants surprised me with their relative short stretch. Although they more than doubled in length during flower, I had expected much more. Some of this may be due to the excessive veg time. These plants were all fairly mature before I went to 12/12 light cycles. I guess I was envisioning a vicious stretch based on their quick development in veg. Instead these girls behaved like typical Indicas and sported a short, but husky, appearance all the way to the end. Stretch lasted until the 7th week of flower.
Plant heights were all similar throughout and finished around 40”. I have a feeling that there is a more Sativa dominant pheno within this release that I have yet to discover.
Nutrient needs -Deficiencies
Germination/Vegetation
All five seeds germinated in five days or less and growth rates were uniform. The stems were not rigid enough initially to support the weight of the plants. Adding splints for support quickly solved the problem and by week two they were able to go unsupported. Keep a close eye on light-to-plant distance, as they will stretch very quickly if the light intensity is too low.
The cloning solution seemed more than adequate for the first weeks. No other food or supplement was used until week three. As I said earlier, the plants grow very quickly and will surprise you each morning with their nightly progress. I encountered no significant nutrient related issues during veg. Possibly the most trouble-free grow overall, that I have had.
The plants all stressed a little during the first transplant and reacted poorly to the HID initially. The plants also reacted to temp changes unfavorably, so try to keep any changes to a minimum in the early days of life. The roots grow very quickly on this plant in optimal conditions, so be prepared to move them to individual containers soon if that is your intent.
I would recommend going easy on the nutes until you feel that they are lagging and then bump it up a bit. Unlike my previous grow, these seem to perform better with a less is more attitude concerning food.
The plants really didn’t smell much until the 4th week. At that time I started to notice a very strong odor. The odor is very skunky and will carry for miles if you let it. You will not be able to eliminate this smell without using some form of odor control; dryer sheets are not going to cut it.
Flowering:
I flowered all of the plants at around 18” and my initial flowering mixture was around 900 ppm.
This was too high in my opinion and resulted in minor edge and tip burning on two of the plants. After taking it down progressively to 700, I think the plants were much happier. I’m not convinced that higher nutes are beneficial in this case and I will certainly be less aggressive the next time around. I maintained 600–800 through week 8 and then diluted the mixture to 0 gradually for flushing in the following weeks.
Bud sites appeared roughly two weeks in and sex was evident at around 10 days for my one hermaphrodite, and at two weeks for the remaining three females. The hermie wannabe had shown obvious stress during transplant and as a result warranted my suspicion. Sure enough, it turned to the dark side and was destroyed quickly.
Phenotypes
There were two phenotypes in this grow and they looked nothing alike.
Pheno #1
This type was more Sativa dominant in appearance and featured bright reddish-purple calyxes and long very thick buds. It matured a full two weeks ahead of the others and yielded the most of the three.
This plant finished at 44” tall and was theoretically ready to cut at week 8; I let it go longer hoping for more resin and crystal production. Although the plant finished very sticky, I doubt that the extra time was worth it. Because of the quick maturity and decent yield, this was the better of the two phenotypes and I would recommend keeping it if you come across it, as the finished smoke is pretty good stuff.
Calyx to leaf ratio was average, but there seemed to be quite a lot of trimming and hash fixings at the end.
Color: bright green with dark red calyxes that turned purple in week 4 of 12/12.
Beauty: 10. Sweet looking colas and leaves.
Ease of Grow: 10. Great strain for a first time grower.
Smell: 8+. Don’t grow this plant if you can’t remove a great deal of odor.
Yield: decent - 120g.
Smoke Report
I have heard many conflicting reports on WW and I wonder if that has to do with all of the crossbreeding and different seed banks. Regardless, here are my thoughts.
To be objective I cured the bud for a minimum of two weeks in glass Mason jars after a two week dry and smoked it in a clean glass pipe, which really is the best way IMO.
The buds burn very well leaving only a fine white ash behind. They are very tight and one good-sized nugget will get 4 people very high. The taste is unique and hard to describe. Some skunkiness yet too sweet to be afghan. A very slight citrus after taste that isn’t unappealing but doesn’t make you crave it like the berry or haze strains do.
This is sleeper herb, and sneaky at that. The tendency is to smoke more than you need only to find yourself impossibly stoned. My eyes got a little puffy and Cotton Mouth set in shortly after the first hit. After two hits from my Steam Roller, I am ready to sit out for a while. Not trippy, but very tingly and cerebral. I have come up with several cool ideas while under its influence, now if I can only get motivated to act on them.
The taste is average, but should get better with a longer cure. The high is very reflective and can fuel some very interesting late night conversations. No munchies or other side effects were encountered other than the eyes and cotton mouth mentioned earlier.
Potency: 8. Coming from me, that is pretty high.
Taste: 5. Not too good, not too bad.
High: 7. Above average, good daytime buzz, not a sleep aid.
Desirability: 6. Way too much out there that is better and finishes quicker.
Social Liability: 0. A good up high with minimal physical impairment.
Paranoia: 0. No paranoia at all.
Friend Maker: 9. Very social weed that offers a good time for all.
Pheno #2
The last two plants I flowered and the one straggler that I kept in veg, fall into this category. They all lagged about two weeks behind pheno #1 and yielded less at the end. The calyx to leaf ratio was poor. Bud sites were small and surrounded by legions of fan and shade leaves. Just keeping even light exposure became a nightmare requiring numerous pruning sessions and creative uses of string.
Not spectacular yielders by my standard and they matured much too slowly in flower for my tastes. Both flowered plants were nearly identical in yield and final size.
In a bigger grow this pheno wouldn’t have made the cut, not enough buds for the amount of leaf material, and they just didn’t keep up with the others.
Color: dark green leaves and calyxes, with bright red hairs at harvest.
Beauty: 10. Very pretty leaves and bud formations.
Ease of Grow: 10. No problem.
Smell: 8+. Skanky.
Yield: average, 80-90g.
Smoke Report
These buds took a long time to dry, even now as they cure, they are damp with resin and very sticky to the touch. The nuggets are not as dense as pheno #1 and mash together very easily when handled. The smell is wonderful and I look forward to opening the jars up each day for that initial blast of MJ goodness.
The nugs burn very evenly and reflect the thoroughness of my flush. The stone hits you immediately and the taste is quite pleasant. A tasty mixture of spice and pine, with a hint of fruit. The high is body in nature and quickly extends to your face, legs and arms. Your joints quickly go numb and the rest of your body quickly follows. It’s like being immobile but your mind is clear as a bell. Unusual in that you think you are okay until you take a step and think better of it. Not a true couch-lock, but close.
No nasty side effects, but there is a mildly unpleasant aftertaste that may or not disappear with more curing. Overall a nice smoke with muscle relaxing and face numbing tendencies.
Potency: 8
Taste: 7. May get higher rating in future.
Smell: 9. Very pungent and strong. Prepare to smell like weed.
High: 7. Body high with clear head.
Desirability: 5. Poor yielder, too many leaves.
Social Liability: not good for social smoking, motivational vacuum.
Paranoia: 0
Friend Maker: 10+. Great gift for friends in need of medicine.
Summary
White Widow is another one of those famous strains that I had wanted to grow for some time. The lack of clear information on WW was frustrating, but overall I feel it is an excellent plant that requires a good deal of growing to find that elusive ‘killer pheno’. I was encouraged by the stability of the strain and the relative ease of the grow. First time growers should definitely give this one a shot. Expect a few lemons in the group, but even the lemonade isn’t too bad.
The plants were happy with lighter nutes in veg and flower and will reward you with fantastic rates of growth if given the right balance. These are very responsive plants that quickly tell you if there is a problem. I managed to shock one into Hermieville, but that was my fault and I don’t associate the event with the strain, rather, the stress coupled with feminized seeds was the culprit.
Yield was above average from pheno #1 and average for pheno #2. I believe that pinching increased the yield on pheno #1 but might have been harmful to #2. A SCROG would optimize this strain and pull out a higher yield.
Like I mentioned before, this is a very quick growing plant that requires maintenance throughout the veg period. Left to its own devices, it could easily Overgrow the world.
Color appeared on the one pheno but the others remained dark green with a heavy coating of resin. It is impossible to come away from these plants in flower without a strong odor of dank. Even brushing your bare skin against the buds produces slight tingling and numbness to the affected area. From that perspective, these are the most resinous and naughty plants I have grown.
The clones I took rooted very quickly and seemed to grow well after the initial shock period was over. Care must be taken to properly support them early on, as they are very pliable and easily bent. All six rooted within ten days and were ready for transplant.
A harvest time of 8 weeks was probably optimal for pheno #1 and 10 weeks turned the others into couch lock. I would think 8 weeks max for the types I grew; the additional two weeks had little benefit other than a slight increase in Resin/CBN’s.
The trichomes are easily visible and can be observed without magnification, even in the early stages. I would still advise using a magnifying lens to be accurate.

Not the easiest to grow by a long way. Huge stretch in flower, almost doubled in size in the first 2 weeks, and quite easy to burn with nutes. Probably not the best strain for a beginner. I noticed that the flowering time you often get told for WW is 70 days; this was much too long for mine. They only took 54 days, although this could be down to the phenotype.

Germination:
From a 10 feminized seeds pack (100 euros= approx. 100$), I got 7 ladies and the other 3 beans went to trash (this germination problem may come from too much moisture: it seems the 3 weakest seeds have rotten).
Phenotypes:
Phenotype from this pack was quite uniform: a sativa-indica mix, with a sativa predominance.
Vegetative stage:
The younger plants are, the larger are the leaves. They really look like indica during the 3 first weeks of vegetative growth.I was astonished when i remarked trichomes presence during early vegetative growth with quite strong smell.
Blooming stage:
Average stretching (1/3rd of total height before flowering). The whole plant gets heavy covered with white cristals and many white hairs.
Finished with good sized colas and buds with flashy red-orange hairs.
There were very few little buds and near-nodes buds.
Be careful when getting to the end of flowering: this strain has still MANY white pistils when matured. So you should make daily trichome examination with 30x microscope.
Cloning:
I took clones from the fastest developping plants: easy cloning with nearly 100% success. I used standard cloning method (+ Clonex) with scarification.
They rooted very easily into the growing medium (clay balls).
They looked strange (distorted leaves, irregular node spacing) at the beginning as I had to revert the mother plants from early flowering to vegetative growth. In fact, my cat had eaten the first clones I had taken; I was forced to switch the mothers back to vegetative growth and take a new batch of clones!
Pruning/Training:
I topped each plant twice in order to get approx. 4 colas/plant.
I tied down the plants 'till the end of stretching: all branches got approximately to same level.
Nutes:
I used Canna Aqua A+B for vegetative growth and then HESI blooming nutes: I never went over 2.0 EC (Total = 0.45 (water) +2 =2.45 EC).
In the middle of flowering the plants got darker: they passed from light green to deep dark green but without signs of nute burn.
I used PK13-14 from 5 weeks before harvest 'till week 7 and let 'em with only GH Ripen during the last 10 days.
Harvesting/Curing:
A very decent yield: I?ve been smokin' 5 joints/day (that's an average of course!) for 1.5 months yet and I think it could last another 2 months more.
I cut the plants, roughly manicured them and hanged 'em in the dark (without fan because then the buds would dry too fast IMO). It took about 2 weeks to dry. I sealed the buds into mason jars and kept one jar for daily smokin' till the others get cured enough.
Buds appearance:
Good sized buds, very hard/compact, VERY sticky
Taste:
The buds taste good but I was kind of disappointed: they had not the best taste I've ever seen. Taste is a little bit harsh (after 1 month curing) with soft acidic flavor like citrus.
Smell:
I think that's the greatest characteristic of this strain (together with heavy resin covering). The odor is VERY strong: be very careful when growing or transporting buds in your pocket/car. It's very hard to describe it: I just could say that it's very pleasant.
Potency:
Very strong weed but I think it can go from heavy mental high (with very low body effect) to serious couch-lock if you let them flower longer. I tried both flowering duration ("normal":55 days and "long":70 days): IMO you shouldn't let them flower too long or you'll get rapidly tired of those baseball bat hits on your head, eyes and legs when you smoke it. If you let them about 55 days, you'll get a very nice uplifting and strong high, without ANY paranoia/anxiety and you can still do things (with happiness!) after smoking a joint (work, drive etc.).
I'd also recommend to make hash with all those magnificent leaves covered with resin: the effect then is quite strong, taste & smell are great but far more couch-lock than smokin? buds.
Conclusion:
This is the best weed I have ever grown in terms of potency (I LOVE this high!) and yield.
It's a very easy to grow strain and also easy to clone.

A very nice plant to grow for those who don't mind waiting. White Widow packs a real punch when it comes to the size and effect of this great medication. Total flowering time indoor was 75 days which was a lot more than I would have liked to have waited. End result from 2 female plants was 4 oz dry weight. Buds were all nice in size and full of THC.
I placed my plants in 48 hours of darkness prior to harvest. Drying time may take longer than expected due to sheer size of the buds. Definitely glad that I grew this strain, but I doubt that I will continue to do so because of how long they take to finish.

The Dutch passion feminised white widow was a massive smoke and an easy plant to grow – I do recommend it. Of 4 seeds, 3 sprouted and all were females. The plants were very bushy which caused problems in the confines of my waist-high grow room.
Because of the height restrictions the plants were grown under 375W of compact fluoro’s (Envirolites & envirolite knock off’s). Veg time was 5 weeks and the plants increased in size by 2-3 times during flower. Plants were grown in coco fibre (‘coir’) which contained 40% perlite. The bottom 2 inches of the pots was clay pebbles, and the plants sat in a tray which had a couple of inches of liquid feed in it. When the plants had sucked up the all the liquid the tray dried up and I re-filled it with a couple more litres. Not a high-tec growth method – but suits me for a few reasons that I won’t bore you with here.
Feeding was with canna nutrients and I also used hydrogen peroxide to ensure the roots were fully oxygenated. No noticeable issues with nute concentrations were seen – but then again I stuck to a ‘gradual increase’ method before feeding at full strength. Every so often I would let the plants feed on plain water to minimise chances of salt build up. The plants were also all fed plain water for the last week of their life and I think it made for a smoother toke.
The widow plants need a lot of pruning, in my opinion, when grown in small areas. Specifically the issue is the leaves which form a bushy canopy making light penetration tricky – especially in my confined grow room. So I do recommend taking leaves off the widows, sorry if other gardeners disagree with me on that but I’m just telling it as it was for me.
Of the three plants one yielded 1.75 ounces, one was 1.5 ounces and one was just ¼ ounce. I think the low yielder just didn’t get enough light. The 2 heavy yielders were successfully re-vegged. On re-vegging they didn’t smell quite as pungent, and they seemed to take longer to reach maturity on the second harvest.
The plants were very smelly and would need odour control in a bigger grow. Because I grew in such a small space I can’t really comment on the plants growth characteristics too well, but fortunately I can talk about 2 different phenotypes that I saw based on the colour of the calyx’s. One plant grew the traditional green calyx’s and one grew brown/red calyx’s. Both are described in detail below.
I cropped at just over 9 weeks and gave the plants 48 hours of darkness before harvest – some say this helps potency.
This plant was a supreme smoke, a creeper stone that peaks about an after you smoke/vapourise it. The effect continues to give a typical total 3 hour stone – which is very good for me….and I have smoked daily for 20 years (with a gap of 8 years in the middle when I was straight and at college). Compared to Isis (a haze-related sativa from Dutch Passion), this stone was stabler and steady. There was less of a ‘haze’ / confusion at the start of the stone than with Isis. But this was a massive stone in it’s own right, and really you can’t function too well on it. You wander around the house wondering what the hell you were supposed to be doing but struggle to remember. Jees, better just lay on the sofa and try to watch cable TV, but which damn channel man?
The smoke gave you a total loss of sensation of time. I bet one day they will discover a medical use for that….
I also got a strong sense of peace, a removal from the anxieties of my usual day. Tingling in the limbs. Smoking this on a weekend spring morning with a good buddy was a great way I started one day in 2004, a euphoric and giggly high. My mate who grows under 1000w HPS reckons the pheno would give him 3-4 ounces a plant – perhaps he will get lucky enough to grow it one day.
This plant was also biggest yielder of my garden. Yielding 2-3 times the yield of blueberrys grown in the same grow and under the same conditions. One and three quarter ounces of prime bud came from a single 3 foot high plant that was grown in overcrowded conditions under 375 watts of envirolites – but man, what a beauty.
The stone last longer with joints than with vaporizing – but I think that means that higher vaporizing temperatures are needed. Branches grew all over this plant and the buds were growing all over the branches – it was really unusual to see such prolific growth. I knew when I decided to re-veg this that I had a special plant The grey haired smokers that don’t like the trippy edge to their smokes may want to moderate the volumes they smoke as a little goes a long way.
Anyone foolish to even consider driving after toking this stuff would be a danger to themselves and anyone else on the road so never drive under the influence of this stuff. My mate, a 20 year toker veteran like myself, rates this as one of his favorite smokes, better even than Blueberry – a strain that many rate as one of the best ever.
Make no mistake, this is a top-drawer smoke of the highest order. Easy to grow with no noticeable issues at all other than a strong odor that requires active management in the flowering stages. I say it one more time – this is truly magnificent, one of my best smokes ever. Just don’t hope to get much done under the influence.
Any young people or students out there?, then lay off this stuff until your studies are over, I had to lay off regular weed to get thru college, there is no way I could have made it thru college on this stuff. I don’t mean to offend any young people out there but I’m just an old git telling you my views and experience – no offence intended at all. Get your studies done then get stoned, not the other way around.
Honest to God this is powerful, don’t use this stuff if you have an active life. Ideal for pain management or those lucky enough to be cruising thru life. In my experience this is a true killer strain that you will enjoy unless you have had poor grow conditions/lighting.
I give it a 9/10. A very rare score for me, awarded only for truly devastating smokes.
The herb leaves you with a tired out feeling after toking it, so either plan a siesta 4 hours after a smoke, or smoke in the evening for best effect.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I grew these plants in a small growroom so this can’t be considered a complete study since so much was sub-optimized. They were grown under 3x 125 watts of compact fluorescent rather than HPS, and the grow height was restricted to about 3 feet (1 metre). I can only define the phenotypes as red-calyx’d and green calyx’d. The yield was great from both phenotypes. I was really pleased with this strain and would say this was money well spent on great genetics that gave good yield and strength, and took all I could throw at them in terms of poor grow conditions. Congrats to Dutch Passion. In summary: Highly recommended to all. This is a killer strain and all growers ought to try this one. One more time, don’t smoke too much in one go or you will be wiped by this stuff.

Veged 4 seeds got 3 females and 1 ermaphroditic
This strain is stable;all the plants were similar in appearence and height. I also found it very easy to grow. Huge stretch in flowerinh;they almost double their size. Great yeald and very potent high mainly fisical but with clear mind. The phenotype is indica/sativa with sativa predominance. The vegetative period was 31-33 days while the flowering was 70 days.Great production of resin from the 4th week of flowering. The buds are compact,sticky. The smoke is strong,heavy,pungent and fruity mainly lemon anyway pleasant.
The high is potent,mainly fisical ,bodystone but with clear mind.
I really suggest this strain.

-A 10 pack of Dutch Passion Feminised White Widow was started by me in 2003, 8/10 seeds popped within 24 hours. The 2 seeds that didn't pop lacked dark striping.
-Seeds were placed in 1" rockwool cubes, and given extremely dilute flowering fertilizer to promote rooting.
-When seedlings showed true leaves, as well as roots escaping the cubes, they were placed in 5 gallon continuous drip buckets filled with hydroton clay balls. Nutrient strength began at 600 ppm.
-All plants were nearly identical in growth characteristics, Dutch Passion has reduced variability in this strain to roughly nil. Very fast, and vigorous vegetative growth was observed. Very light green, profuse shoots, strong stem growth. Cloning speed is average, 5-10 days in rockwool, slightly longer in jiffy cubes. Stems are very sticky and extremely stinky when rubbed in veg.
-As the plants matured, nutrient strength was gradually raised to 12-1600 ppm, This plant can take stronger ppm during veg. It also has a fairly wide ph range in both hydro and soil, 5.8-7, will produce strong growth throughout.
-White Widow is sensitive to excess sodium+chlorides in tap water, if at all possible, use RO water. White Widow also needs extra calcium throughout the growth cycle. If using DNF nutrients, magnesium will also have to be added, as this formula doesn't contain enough for this variety. If you are positive you are supplying everything to your White Widows, and they still are showing light signs of deficiency of some sort, look to these problems to solve it.
-Several crops have been grown from these mothers since, eventually I settled on
one mother, who was less susceptible to the nutrient problems described above. The pictures are all from my most recent crop harvested jan 7, 2005. Potency has roughly increased by about a third from the first crop, when the plant was 3 months old, to now at 2 years. This is by far the most potent, stinkiest crop yet, with the most dense trichrome production I have ever seen, I use a 60-100x microscope to examine the buds. I attribute some of this to using advanced new micro-organism products.
-White widow stretches to 2.5 times her veg size in flower, responds very well to 'super croppin' techniques/stem massage, increases flower size and weight markedly. There is not much difference in dry weight between topped and untopped. Topped plants produce 4 equal sized colas, versus one slightly larger cola and many smaller buds on untopped. These plants are not heavy yielders, first crop colas averaged 5-7gm, most current crop colas averaged 8-11gm. Expect probably slightly less than 1lb per light if you are inexperienced, or more experienced but your first time with finicky plants. I have most recently just harvested 1.5 Lbs per 1000 watt light, and I feel, after 2 years, I have pushed them to near their heaviest. (3gal growbags, 9/light) Expect 2 ozs or so out of a 3 gal bag.
-This plant also works well outdoors, further south than the 50th parallel or so. Will produce excellent looking outdoor nugs, when in the right spot, needs at least 6 hrs of sun a day to produce the densest (weight+trichromes) buds.
-White widow does not like heavy nutrient strength during flower at any time. Expect slower growth, less flavour, less resistance to stress if you choose to push their ppm. Keep flowering nutes to 1-1300 ppm in soil or hydro. She produces profuse trichromes very early, and will show sex within a week of 12/12. She will also turn yellow very quickly and drop most if not all leaves by the end of flower, do not be alarmed! The same plant can take anywhere from 8-10 weeks, depending on its conditions during growth. Leave it longer to achieve its maximum flavour and trichrome production (9-11 weeks).
-This bud produces buds of an excellent light green hue, this effect can be hastened by reducing nitrogen to a 1/3 of normal during last 2 weeks, also requires extra calcium last 2 weeks. Lots of spiky hairs, the bud structure is long, dense buds (not like an indica dense) visible stalked trichromes to the naked eye, will glitter like diamonds in the sun.
-A purely synthetic nutrient regimen will not produce the intense, multi-layered flavour that this strain can produce, you can also forget about maximum crystal. If pure synthetic is your preferred style, you would be wise to add a seaweed derived product to your mix in all your grows to achieve higher levels of kindness. With a proper regimen, crystallization and flavour is unbelievable, with many subtle levels to both the odour and high. Incredible quality hash can be made from the trim, i've beat out pure bud hash with my trim hash in several instances!
-Odour control is required if you don't want to be busted promptly, this plant has an extremely original scent and it is very powerful. Seems to leak from sealed mason jars!
-This smoke is of the highest grade pure and simple. It is not for beginners to grow by any means, its also not for beginners to smoke! The bud is extremely desirable, and will make any who smoke literally salivate. Cures to an exceptional golden green hue. After the first hit or two, you will feel pressure immediately behind your eyes, its a strange sensation but just realise you will be extremely baked soon! You may not get much farther either, I find myself putting out many joints 1/4 to 1/2 done before I even know what I'm doing. This will blast even the most jaded smokers, at first anyways. Due to the extremely high THC content, you will build a tolerance pretty quickly. Sometimes in a day or two of smoking. Don't worry! Give it a rest of a day or two as well and you will be back to blasted. When this bud hits the streets, it acquires many names due to its extreme effects. Think 'Crack weed' and 'Golden Jesus Weed'. Also expect many compliments of this is the best shit ever, or this is the best shit of the year, when well grown that is. Even if not well grown this will outshine most other bud.
Many people have downplayed white widow over the years because of its hype. Don't be fooled! These are absolutely exceptional genetics, Greenhouse may be the originators, but Dutch Passion has reduced variability and increased vigour, you will not be disappointed, but your pocket might hurt after purchasing the seeds!! If you are looking for something to cross into your home strain, or have a good yielder that lacks punch and flavour, white widow will not disappoint on the breeding front either. Its major THC content seems to be dominant when used as a mother, and will frost up near any strain.

I was eager to try the legend of the White Widow. This was only my fifth indoor grow, so I planted 3 along with an unknown sativa bagseed. All three popped quickly and really took off. Ended up with two females. During veg, the WW handled all the nutes I threw at it (Dyna Gro), but during flower, she was a little picky. First I burned her, then she locked out for a couple of weeks, then I got a new light right in the middle of flower and went from a 400w MH to a 1000w HPS. I took the girls at 2 days shy of eight weeks with triches milky to just turning as I was going on vacation and can say that next time I will go longer. She stretched a little more than I like, but the yield was good, and the smoke excellent. Big solid buds that cured nicely. Will definately keep these beans on hand.

White Widow- This is the third time I have grown the widow so this info can be trusted. 7 females out of ten seeds in an Aeroflo20 using General Hydroponics and a Sunmaster 1000w warm deluxe. It took 53 days of flowering to acheive max potency. I harvested 2 ounces per plant and its all for personal use. be careful as White Widow id some very hellacious smoke. It will definatley get you stoned, and I do have a tolerance built up. If you are looking to grow an outstanding variety thats fairly easy and inexpensive Dutch Passion White Widow is the way to go.
