  Breeder's Description - 'Grapefruit'

A new style sativa; early maturing, fast flowering and maximum yielding. Buds have a soft smell of grapefruit, sweet taste and intense tropical high. This is a 75% C’99 x 25% strong fruity sativa, stabilised on early maturity for some generations now. Plants grow up to 50 to 60 cm, when put under 12/12 hrs after one week of germination. This one is still undergoing a stability-program, although with 80% being winners not a bad choice.

Stability: 65%

My favorite strain for the moment . The genetic of these cross is 75% Cinderella 99 .

All the seeds popped well and they were 100% female. Look carefully on the seller website, these seeds (grapefruit) are female and no feminised.

Easy to grow, but need more attention than an indica! Of course.

I had 4 pheno on this batch , one short and squat at the beginning more indica than the others (4 a sativa), with a typical Dutch smell and taste (grapefruity and shitty at the same time). Big harvest .

One perfect pheno quite sativa with a perfect grapefruit smell and taste. The one I finally kept . Not the best producer but quality & taste and high are everything !

One super fruity than can turn purple , and another one more spicy with big buds(like c99 f2 from the gn collection).

The trichome level is amazing on all these plants !

The high is hot and warm and takes you far, and can be trippy like haze .

My best smoke since a while !

This is a strain that can be grown with 12/12 lighting from beginning to end. In fact, it's highly recommended if you want plants to finish less than 2.5 feet. if you veg them for more than 2 weeks you may regret it unless you have 600w or higher. Plants will not start flowering until they are a month old. If you do 18/6 or 24/0 for veg, you will get really tall indoor plants. 3-4 feet easy. 12/12 is recommended for stealth/low profile grows.

IMPORTANT:
REQUIRES some nitrogen at the beginning of flower. Bud mass forms up REALLY fast so the plants need N and exercise until plants show bud mass. Otherwise you might get really droopy branches. Susceptable to mildew (c99 trait) so spray them with 10% milk, 90% water once during first few weeks as a preventative measure. Repeat if mildew appears. Milk combats it well and the plant likes the milk.

This strain is very very tasty. A favorite.
You may get an occasional short plant that smells skunky. This happens about 1 of every 4 plants. These plants are a pheno on to themselves. ;) I don't clone but if I did, I would pick the biggest plant and the smallest plant to clone. 2 phenos from one strain!
Grapefruit is an amazing flavored strain that also happens to kick your ass. One of the most potent I have ever smoked much less grow. In fact I should poke another bat........................................
mmmmmm very tasty. Just like the name. Flavor gets better and better with cure too. Still a nice smoke only two weeks after cutting. It's c99 roots will have you salivating and the increased yeilds will make you extra happy. This strain should replace c99! This strain is for anyone from new growers to commercial growers.

For this grow I used a mix of 1/2 angel moss and 1/2 potting soil. I mixed in 1/2 cup gypsum per plant as a buffer and a source of calcium.
1 125w CFL and large reflector.
Veg was fed with water soluable miracle grow rose fertilizer.
Flower was fed with a bloom booster with lots of phosphorus plenty of potassium and little nitrogen.
Loves epsom water foliar fed once a week or two.
Big fats heads, even with CFLs.

Odor Level: 6 Odor: Soft/citrus smell..strong hint of grapefruit. Not super pungent but odor control is needed.

Sprouted one feminized seed (from a four pack) to toss in with other strains in closet space...was a female. I topped her hearing she'd stetched a bit...no training and veg'd for ~ 3 weeks. Max height was just over 3 ft. yielded 44 grams (again, no training). She would put out more if the was just pointed in the right direction. I had read that this strain really took the nutes and she does. Aggresive feeding was the approach...though ph run off was very steady and I rinsed the soil down once a month. I would think even fore new growers this would be a decent buy...the female reports and content smokers backing this strain are always high and I've heard little to no bad reports.
The buds were rock hard nearing harvest but I was'nt ready for hard they'd dry out to be...very dense buds.

Smell during flower strongly resembles fresh grapefruit but is not on the dastic side to contain though odor control is recommended.

Chopped at 9 weeks...trichs - mostly cloudy with very few amber. Whole plant hung to dry with 65-68F temps and 45-50% humidity...after nearly a week buds were snipped from plant and placed in paper bags. Once they were dry, dry..off to the jars.

2 week cure offered a suprisingly soft smoke with light hints of fruit. After a month the citrus taste was stronger with nice aftertaste. This only continues with time but I did'nt make it much past that. ;)

I'm currently flowering a GF that was only veg'd for under 2 weeks and want to see what a SOG grow started from seed would offer...

For a mostly sativa strain I still think new growers would enjoy this plant. She can handle a bit of strong feeding which is a common mistake early on.
And if you look around the most experienced growers show this strain a lot of love. I'm looking forward to more strains from Female Seeds...probably Cinnamon from them sometime in the future.

I love this strain. I had no problems with this grow. I had 2 phenos out of 4 seeds. They all pretty much had the grapefruit smell, except for one that was pretty skunky. This was the first sativa I have grown, and will grow again.

The buzz from this strain is top notch. It is a warm fuzzy head high that is great for going on walks in the woods, and listening to music. Very motivational, I want to get up and do things when smoking.

This is the best weed I have tried, and I have smoked a lot of great weed in my time. Everyone that I shared with was blown away by the high and potency.

I grew these in 4 gallon Containers, in Fox Farm planting mix, with perlite. I used fish emulsion in veg, and earth juice bloom in flower. I used LST, and topped. This strain responded really well to this. The plants really stretch so flower early.
