  Breeder's Description - 'Mighty Mite x Peak19-AK47'

Mighty Mite is a famous BC indica that originated in the Himalayas. It has a bushy main cola, very good potency. This was crossed with some very vigorous 1947 males. The outcome is awesome. If you are looking for a short compact plant that packs a punch, this buds for you.

I started six seeds from hygro and all six germed.

From those 6, three were female, i kept one as a mom.

Plant growth was vigorous and sex showed within a week of 12/12. Plants produced fairly dense very crystally buds. Strain seems to require slightly more ferts than the other strains i grow. Mighty Mite x 1947 has autoflower capabilities for sure. To keep a mom, i find it neccessary to replace the mom with a new clone every two months, as the old mom goes into flower even under a 24/0 light regime. I grow in a mini SOG. I take clones, root them for two weeks, then veg for another two and then they are packed into my flower chamber. In my mini method the plants yield a very respectable half to a zee a plant which is pretty consistant with my other strains.

Bag appeal is pretty good, nice buds with the hairs not quite purple but maybe scarlet, definately not the usual red hair color. Fairly dense nugs with a smell and taste that is hard to describe. Taste is kinda earthy with a metallic undertaste but pleasant on the palatte. Not overwhelmingly potent, but has a very nice creeper type buzz. Way better than the commercial that floats around here (which isn't all that bad by the way). I had ordered these seeds as a personal test of getting seeds by mail, i did not want to risk alot of money and these seeds fit the bill for price and description. I have to say i was pleasantly surprised by these seeds, very nice plants for the money.

I grow in a mini sog - perpetual garden with a 2 x 4 ft flower area. I have one 2 x 2 area for moms and another 2 x 2 ft area for cloning and veg. In my flower area i have three trays, i harvest one and a half trays every 28 days. The plants are grown in 16 oz cups, filled with a mixture of mainly perlite with some potting soil. The cups are put up to 12 in a tray and the trays are filled with nutrient solution up to a depth of about an inch. An air wand sits in each tray to provide aeration. I have been using BC Technoflora 3 Part ferts.
