Germination/Vegetation: Using the “paper towel” method, I germinated 5 out of 5 seeds. Out of those 5 seeds, I ended up with 2 females. All were very consistent during veg (including males) and this strain showed sexes at about 35 days. The two females were only vegetated for 35 days and reached a height of about 1 and half feet tall. The plants grew fat wide leaves and showed Indica traits. She took in nutrients nicely.
Flowering: I flowered the two plants for about 54 days. I like to harvest my plants with a minimum of 50% “cloudy” trichomes and 50% “amber” trichomes. The plants grew nice main colas with a fair amount of side branching. The pistols on one pheno were almost glowing blue during a certain phase in the flowering cycle. Both phenos grew alike but were still very different, although still pretty stable for an F2. They frosted up very nicely and didn’t smell too strong. On the last week of ripening you can really smell blueberries when you rub the main colas. The overall size of the colas was quite impressive considering the smaller containers used (1 Gal pots) for the grow. I ended up with about an ounce and a half of dried and manicured buds (no stems!). She took in nutrients nicely, in fact I’m sure I under fed them.
Drying/Curing: The buds dried nicely in about 7 days (first 3 days hung up, and then 4 days in paper bags). The more you cured them for, the better and sweeter these buds tasted. They really smelled of blueberries and it was my first berry strain ever. I was quite pleased, as they smoked and tasted like they smelled too!
Smoke Test: The buzz was fast and heavy in the forehead. It throws off a nice Indica head stone, with a subtle body buzz. Munchies hit you every time and smoking too much will cause you to doze off…nice meds for back pain and GREAT for upset stomachs and people who suffer from ulcers. Buzz lasts a good 2 hours. Good and potent.
