As this was our first attempt, we were rather pleasantly surprised... We used a 100w bulb and growing soil from a local garden center. The food we used was Miracle Grow and Super-Thrive. At first we were dubious, using a 250w mercury bulb, which was what us Northeners call 'shan'. So, with some advice, we changed to a 125w Envirolight and to our surprise it shot off! The first shot we had of it was thru a pipe at our band practice and the creativity flowed like The River Nile. The effect wasn't of normal stature, it kept us going... Chatty and very happy. We found there was no sign of couch-lock, more of a trippy buzz from it.
