Cannabis seeds in mail

Hi, I received a package with some seeds, and it was marked with tape saying that it had been opened by customs. Will be police come knocking now? Should I take any precautions? I am not growing, but there may be some weed laying around.

It's possible, but very unlikely. I've scoured some of the Finnish threads about the mail opened by customs, but none of them refer to police visiting the order address. Few posts I found about police coming over after a longer period of time, but I don't know if it's cause of the seed order. If the seed quantity is high and you have any past criminal record I would keep it nice and tidy for a few months. Nowadays we have quite a few growshops located in Finland, which are the most secure way to obtain your seed collection.

In the package was there anything else that might got their attention? They have x-ray and shit, and your name on top of it, so no need to open packages with just seeds.

I'm not sure what could have make them open the package, because they had gone through all the packing. One of the boxes was in wood, so maybe something like that made them curious.

It was about 20 seeds and I have no prior convictions. So that means I can continue my life as normal?

Also depends where are you living. If in Helsinki or pääkaupunki seutu all good I think but if you live in smaller place I'd keep all clean for three months. And also if you feel unsure wait for three months and see if anything happens.
