Easy enough to grow, but does have a tendency to get overwatered, growth is pretty slow too and yield isn't the best.

I got my seeds for $15 / £10 for a first grow it's not bad, and in under 50 days maturation time it's good if you need weed quick.

Smoke report

Getting right down to brass tacks, this weed is an average burn. I sort of slipped into this mellow but still uplifting high while still being able to move around, I found my speech centre was really affected! Like someone had removed my ability to talk, even though I could think of the right words to say.

The smell was piney lawn, even after a good cure it still smelt almost chlorophylly.

Taste was nice, very full bodied flowery flavour. Exactly what a newbie would expect weed to taste like - this embodied it.

All in all pretty average but with a pleasant taste. I'll probably keep one small plant in my garden for future smoke.

I grew up 6 seeds from Sensi Seeds; I first was in a bad situation, with wrong air flow, and high temps.

I got 3 females out of those seeds. One didn't do it to the end, but the two others, that I called #1 and #2 revealed themselves strong enough to go through all my bad treatments. That why I'd say they're a good 9 at ease.

I saved 4 clones from each plant, and, even though mothers were grown in hard conditions, I quickly noticed the amount of resin they had produced. Even the fan leaves were partly covered with resin; that was the first time I saw such trichome development. It revealed itself a very unique characteristic : those plants are monstrous resin producers ! and I can compare them to Whitewidows, rhinos, AK's and others... Top resiners !

The harvest I did with those mothers, the few joints they gave me is not important here.
Then I grew those clones in a brand new box; this strain report is founded on 4 grows with the same genetics.

The box produced good air-column effect, with moisture at 60-70% below canopy and 40-50% above.

Those lady clones were very easy to grow, rooted quickly, and #1 and #2 were looking quite the same at the time they were triggered in 12/12. They grow quickly and bush out quite easily. Their trunk diameter (which variations I found to be a genetic trait in MJ) is average.

Let me talk about odor level ; I don't particularly found that Superskunks stinked. :( I would have loved, tho... Nope, it's quite discreet plant, provided you don't touch the resin. Because the resin is so fruity. That's one of the heaviest perfume I've enjoyed :)

After several weeks, two different phenotypes appeared.

Pheno #1 was a little shorter, with less flowers, but dark green foliage and a gorgeous resin production.
The smell was sweet and fruity, sometimes like marshmallow.
Trichomes are very dense and regularly mapped on the leaf. At 30x, you clearly see there are very few sessiles, hairs, and many many capitated stalked trichomes. It's a deadly long finisher. One time I harvested at 68 days 12/12 and the lady was 50% milky/30% transp/20%ambers. If you stress it a bit with a Ndef in flo, you can have it ready around day 60 12/12.

The other (#2) produced more flowers, looked more sativaish and displayed a pale green that revealed a genetic trait. It's a better producer and a photo contest winner ;) The trichome density is a bit lower than #1, although they are longer in size. That pheno is ready a bit sooner.

No particular pest resistance. I've seen thrips and spider-mites attack them..Spider mites attacked pheno#2 preferably to another plant i had beside (Durban/JH/skunk cross).
They resist and develop a good natural resistance to thrips in late flo, as many other MJ do.

They both did it well to the end. They can take heat, thirst and poor lighting quite well.

Once, I collected some sparse male flowers inside buds of #1 and #2. They may be slightly prone to make male flowers, since I got 30 seeds out of 150 grams of dried manicured buds, or very sensitive to light leaks. Anyway, that very slight pollination tendency isn't a problem for me: 1-2 healthy seeds in one bud is a god's gift! And I grew them 2 more times, and it never happenned again. May have been some light leaks around day 20.

The smoke is serious, thick and heavy. Until 25 days of curing, it is very coughy, and even strong smokers got surprised. Now, it's day 40 curing, and everything is smoothed out.

The high is strong, quite euphorical, the overall effect is good, with a nice body relaxing effect.

You may do things after having smoked, and that is also a good point.
Aromas are sweet, fruity, skunky (#2 mostly). #1 is more fruity than skunky and the resin production is just superb. It is definitely my favorite.

My smoke experience has been made mostly in my own country, and for 13 years now. But I've been to Holland four times and I had smoked some Dutchgrown before tryng the Superskunk; a real good strain in my opinion.

I grew out 4 seeds out of 3 packs of Sensi's Superskunk I bought with a friend, I kept other 15 seeds that are now in the fridge waiting for the right time to be grown. The seeds were fresh and big, dark and pretty good looking.

I got 3 females out of 4 seeds, all grown in coco, 10 liters pot (except the "freak" plant that was kept in a 6.5 liters pot); started with Canna ferts then switched to bio ferts after 3 weeks of vegetative growth.

The Growroom:

150x130 cm, with an height of 190 cm.
Lighting was a 400 watt grolux HPS + 150 watt SON-T HPS.
Ventilation: 2x 180 cfm exhaust fans, 2x 50 watt 30 cm fans.
Ro water, ph 6-6.10 veg, 5-60-5.70, hand watering. Temps were low at the beginning: had 10 days at 14°C max so they stopped for a while.

Anyway the final product was satisfying.

The Phenos: I think there are mainly two phenos:

1)The more indica of the 2 phenos. This one is the one closer to Sensi's catalog description. Faster finisher (55-60 days) than the sativa pheno, has the typical Skunk oil smell. The better producer of the phenos to me, a good resiner but not a top performer.

2)The sativa pheno, this one is more fruity and takes at least 10-15 days more than the indica pheno to ripen, the smell is still rotten/oilish but then when cured smooths out in something more fruity.

3)Freak sativa pheno. This one took something like 83 days 12/12 to be ready. Had "side fingers" on a lot of center fingers of the leaves, there's a pic that tells everything. This plants looked strange, had an indica growth pattern but sativa leaves and times...
Resined like crazy, probably just a freak variation of the sativa pheno.

The smoke:

1)Potent, not too heady, Skunk. This says all.
Has a good nausea countering effect and may fit for appetite stimulation, a good smoke.

2)This pheno is very different. Very heady, sativa high, makes you wanna do things, speak and laugh. Energetic and fruity.

So, overall a good strain, but I?m not so sure I?d keep a mother of the sativa pheno...
But it reminded me the good old days back in the '90s when I went to Amsterdam and I smoked real weed for the first time...
A genetic for lovers

I grew out large numbers of these plants and it is one of my top 5 strains. Plants are covered with sweet smelling crystals. Extremely high yield. Only thing I plan to do to it is cross it with something extremely fruity. Other than that it is almost as perfect as it gets.

I vegged them for a little over 3 weeks and then set them to flower. Plants were trimmed to one main cola and reached about 3 ft in height. Some were ready in 7 weeks while others took 8-8.5.Harvest is pretty easy as there are few leaves to trim.

These are F2's from seed. When I grew the original seeds out I only got 2 females out of 16 plants. I got them in the original breeders pack from Sensi.

I get anxiety when I smoke and I have to say that this weed is pretty comfortable .I only need 2-3 hits and I get a good high. I’m sure if you smoked a whole bowl it would be very intense. The buds are more sweet smelling than skunky. When smoked the skunky smell tends to come out. The bud is covered with crystal.

Grown in 2 gallon pots from seed under 3-600 watt lights. I use a mixture of Hyponex potting soil along with perlite and peat moss. I test nute levels with a proffessional test kit weekly during flower and add nutes as needed. I also used C02 for this grow at 1500 ppm.
