Breeder's Description - 'Apollo 11'
|
This indoor hybrid has a high calyx/leaf ratio & finishes flowering in 7 weeks or less. Our big-yielding, lemon-scented female clone named "Genius" because of her CLEAR, energetic, thought-provoking high was crossed with a robust Cinderella 99 male to create Apollo Eleven. Expect some variation among individuals. The best females are short, heavily branched plants with multitudes of dense, resinous bud sites - perfect for SCROG. The smoke has a sweet citrus flavour. The high is UP & HAPPY.

This report is on the 50/50 phenotype, not Genius. Yield is better with this pheno. Germ rate was 9/10 with 4 females This was the 2nd female chosen from a pack of BG A11 F1's.
This was an extremely easy plant to grow. GH nutes at 1.6 EC, E&F setup. Very vigorous during veg, seemed to like the nutes. They were vegged for 30 days, and topped twice. Placed in my SCROG and trained for 10-14 days. This is by far the easiest strain to train. I just love it. Abundent branching provides numerous budsites.
Stretch during flower wasn't bad, though this is my stretchiest strain. I am able to keep it 4"-5" above the screen. The 50/50 has stronger branching than Genius. If you have to many budsites the buds are small. Maybe 1 per 2 sq. in.
The plants mature at 47 days. Be sure to flush nutes the last couple weeks. Easy to manicure, you just have lots of smaller buds. The nugs are dense with tons of trichomes. I prefere the smaller buds. Easier to store and more THC per toke.
A11 is fairly low odor. It smells sorta like lemon pledge, but milder. No odor problems here. Taste is like mild spicey lemons and very expansive in the lungs. Smooth, nice smoke. I just smoked a 45 day cured bud and was impressed with the taste even more. Really is great after a long cure.
The high is well awesome. It is clear, and uplifting. No couchlock unless you smoke too much. Take 3-4 hits and wait. I will always have A11 around and highly recommend this strain for SCROG. A TOP 5 for sure.
