Ah my friends... Misty was a blessing 'round here. I have been searching for a GREAT all around plant in terms of yield and potency and ease of growth for mores years than I care to remember. The beans were acquired through CIA from Homegrown Fantaseeds and I have been working with them for a year and a half. She's a beauty! Easy grow, easy clone, no variations with typical x-mas tree growth (that can be pruned and/or manipulated to your advantage), a hardy grower that's also quite mite resistant. Best of all she yields excellent, frosty, aromatic buds that will even please your local expert.
These girls were organically grown.
Grow Method: All flowering plants are from clone. They are rooted in flats utilizing Rapid Rooter plugs. They are then transplanted to 20 oz styrofoam cups (10-14 days). They stay under floros until they reach 6-10 inches. They are then transplanted to 2 gallon nursery containers and vegged in the show room under 2200 watts of Metal Halide for another 7-10 days. The girls are roughly 15-18 inches when flipped to flower.
Tips: Prune this girl throughout the first three weeks of flower. I generally leave the meristem and 5-6 branches. If not, she will get branchy and bud size will suffer... (not to mention the pain in the arse it is to trim all that little sh#t). She won't let ya down! Her energies will blow up the cola and remaining branches. She loves nutes and can tolerate high doses.
Plant size: Using the method above the plants finish at around 30 inches and yield (ave) 40 grams. I run forty girls at a time in flower and have gotten identical results all three grows.
YIELD total dry weight 1500-1600grams
Being a "cropper", Misty has it all! Nice firm, frosty buds. A smell that leaves no one guessing. A flavor that the discerning will appreciate. A yield to die for and she's easy...

Flower Room:
A pair of 1000w PL High Pressure Sodium Iwasaki bulbs and PL's 1000 rectangle reflectors. Both have convertable ballast's so I can run the Sunmaster 1100w MH bulbs when needed. The flower room is well ventilated. Temperatures are maintained 75 degrees day/ 68 at night. With 3 oscillating fans for breeze.
Soil mix:
50% Sunshine#1 (sphagnum peat ), 25% earthworm castings, 25% perlite (course grade).
Food Veg:
Fox Farm Grow as directed (she will tolerate heavy applications weekly)
Thrive Alive green b-1 every feeding
Maxi-Crop liquid seaweed every feeding
Food Flower:
Fox Farm Bloom as directed for heavy feeding
Fox farm Grow at 1 ounce per 5 gallons of nutes for the first 5 weeks of flower then discontinue Thrive Alive b-1 every feeding.

Homegrown sent me 10 Misty seeds which all 10 sprouted. I put them in 10 liter pots. I vegged them for 4 weeks and then I put the clock at 12/12 and 6 of them turned out to be female and only one was a bit male-female but not that much (like 85% female and 15% male), so I decided to let her finish!! Already after 4 weeks of flowering I could see that this is going to be a BIG harvest as I had very HUGE cola's. So after 9 weeks I chopped them and came out with 1000 grams (2.2 pounds) of perfect quality weed, and the hermi type turned out to be the biggest yielder with 140 grams(5 ounces) and the smallest yielder was around 80(3 ounces) grams.
The plant that is shown the most on the pics yielded 135 grams (4.750 ounces)
For all of those who want to have a strain that has the highest possible yield and buds fully covered with crystals , well then this is it!
Over the years I’ve have grown so many strains and Misty is one of my favorites.

Grown under 3 x 400w HPS light in soil (all-mix) fed with canna vega and flores and in the last 3 weeks I added 1 week pk 13-14. For the air exhaust I use a 1500m3/hour and for the air coming in I simple use a hose that is as big as on the 1500m3. They all where fed by hand.
