Breeder's Description - 'Shiva Afghani'
|
Another old Ed Special, his last gift to the Dutch seed trade before leaving Europe. Fast flowering, above average yield and all branches bud up to their full length. Good to grow just about anywhere but especially good outside in a warmer climate. It's extremely resinous buds create a unique spacey high.

I grew this specimen from clone, given to me by lonestar.
I started her up indoors for the first few weeks, then put her outside late August in Hawaii. I was concerned that this 100% Indica wouldn't be able to take too much direct sunlight, but boy was I wrong! This Indica can take the heat!
She was flowered at the commencement of 12/12 out here, which is Sept. 21. She was the strongest plant I grew that fall, took the heat, the wind, and most importantly, the pests. Other plants around her were stricken with mite problems, but she was not bothered by them in the least! This is a sturdy, well branching plant, that will yield quite well for its size. Out here in Hawaii she was done in 45 days, indoors she will quite likely go another week or so.
I loved growing and smoking this strain, very easy to grow, and the results are excellent. A nice flavor for a full on Indica, and excellent medicine for pain relief, in my case back pain from degenerative discs... Did the trick!

This plant was grown mostly outdoors in a 3 gallon pot, using Pro Mix Bx soil, added perlite (about 10%), and a cup of worm castings all mixed together. The plants were fed Millenia seabird guano in veg, and Seabird guano/Budswell Hi P mix for the first 2 weeks of flowering, then just straight Budswell before a 2 week straight water flush (EJC used the first flush!).

this was a excellent plant. im am impressed highly.
starting with how the plant give its self enough room to flower like crazy. this is a tree type of plant. The buds can be huge the size of a 2 litter soda bottle. shiva af elongated at least 2.5 ft streched out hugh and then filled every square inch full of green. I started in 6"pots with clones fully rooted in rockwool. up to 1 gal then into 9 - 12 gal. buckets. 45 days under the veg lights and 10 wks yes i said 10 wks till done... omg unbeliveable results
shiva afgahani is some of the spices/rotten kgb ive smoked in a while. this crop i grew soma a+, ogre, moonshadow and shiva afg. the shiva is by far the pick of all my grower freinds as the best of 04 out of my garden. Im very much looking forward to growing it next 05 crop and seeing if i can do better with it.

large buckets and long grow cycles are the way i played with theis cycle. I got great results. clones into 6in buckets into 1 gal into large. i use a firbark mulch chicken and bat shit worm casting coco bean husks mixed and packed tight into large buckets. I live and breath by supper thrive u cant over water your crop using this product. I use it at cloneing and veg cycles every time. I clone with oliva cloneing gel. at flower or 2 wks before turning time back to 12/12 i start using v f 11 in the sprayer is final is 15/ 85/ 65 and will give your flowering plants the extra help to make your crop most excellent.
i start my crop, about 30, in my clone room with 2 400 m/h eye . after that into grow room and onto 1000 w hps and 2 400 w hps to help fill in. 45 days of veg and 10 wks of flowering time sativa takes so long but its worth it love, peace and prosper, gullymonster
